St Patrick’s Allora is one of eight schools in our diocese of thirty-two schools that is a part of the ‘Lighthouse Schools Visible Learning Project’.

‘Visible Learning’ is about making the learning visible to learners. That is, students know:
The research tells us that when learners know all of these things, they are more motivated, engaged and are happier learners. Better still, they are set up for life long learning.

What is ‘Visible Learning’ -
‘Visible Learning’ is about making the learning visible to learners. That is, students know:
- What they are learning—the ‘learning intention’;
- Why they are learning it;
- What they need to do to be successful—the ‘success criteria’
- What their current level of achievement is against the criteria and;
- Their ‘next steps’ in their learning.
