Principal's Welcome
Dear Parents and Carers,
On behalf of the St. Patrick’s Allora School and Parish community, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our school. St. Patrick’s proud tradition of providing outstanding education to the Allora community is as strong now as it was when the school began in 1916. St. Patrick’s School is focused on the holistic development of every child.
At St. Patrick’s Allora we are firmly committed to working alongside our parents in carrying out the very great task of shaping the lives of the young people in our care. We strive to help our students grow in their awareness of God by immersing them in a genuine Catholic, supportive community. It is in this endeavour that we hope to nurture the development, of caring and justice orientated members of society.
The goal to maintain high academic standards is an ongoing focus for St Patrick’s School. We value student learning and growth and continue to place a strong emphasis on quality teaching and learning in alignment with the Australian Curriculum. Student engagement is optimised through the integration of technology in the form of up to date, interactive learning devices in every classroom. Our professional learning community of teachers and officers work collaboratively towards creating the ideal learning environment for every child.
Local sporting competition is alive and well at St. Patrick’s Allora. Teachers work alongside students in supporting them in the many opportunities that they have to participate in all forms of sport at a local, metropolitan and state level. Our school’s athletics team has been very successful in recent years both in our team endeavours and at an individual student representation level.
Deciding on the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent will make. I trust the information contained in our school’s website will assist you in this process. Please contact the school for further information and a personalised tour of the school.
God Bless,
Keith Blaikie
